Agriculture is the leading industry in the Red River Valley. Greater Grand Forks is located in the heart of the valley and has some of the richest farmland in the nation. Our major crops include sugarbeets, wheat, potatoes, soybeans, sunflowers, and corn. Tours can be arranged to see a working farm, observe harvest, see the various types of crops grown, farm equipment, or perhaps a farm with several types of antique tractors. Tour options will vary, depending on the time of year you visit.

- Stop at the East Grand Forks Heritage Center and enjoy a Buffalo Burger BBQ lunch before checking out the old farm equipment once used in the Red River Valley. You can also tour a pioneer home, church, general store and other buildings.
