Game Night is held in the Children's Dept. every Thursday after school. Children and their families can play games such as chess, checkers, Scrabble, and memory match. You are welcome to bring your own games to play.

Regional premiere of this compelling drama, written by local playwright Kathy Coudle King. St Bette's takes place 40 years ago as four women enter a home for unwed mothers. Each woman feels this is her only choice. Unmarried, young, no financial means, burgeoning professional dreams, reckless behavior, and love have brought them to this house. Some want to keep their babies. One, because of her disability, is not allowed. What is choice when there are no options?

Toddler Storytime at the Grand Forks Public Library last approx. 20 minutes, and includes picture books, finger plays, puppet shows, and songs for children up to age 3. Babies are welcome.

Are you a wimpy kid? The Children's Department at the Grand Forks Public Library is hosting a Wimpy Kid Day on Thursday, March 18th from 4:00 to 4:45 PM. The event is to coincide with the release of the movie "Diary of a Wimpy Kid." During the event, participants will play some wimpy games and in the end several lucky wimpy kids will win free movie tickets courtesy of River Cinema and Carmike Cinema. The Wimpy Kid book series is written for ages 9-12.

Children of all ages are invited to celebrate the release of the movie "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" based on the popular series by Jeff Kinney.
