Experience the Red River of the North from a different perspective. The Red River has a glorious history of steamboats traveling from north to south and back carrying cargo and people. Today the Red River is known mostly for flooding and fishing, but it still has the natural beauty of old just waiting to be enjoyed once again.

Captain Brad Durick, USCG Licensed Captain, ND Licensed & Insured & ND Safer Boater Certified, will be your tour guide for any of four river tour routes: Red River North begins at Whopper John Little Boat Landing and extends north of Grand Forks/East Grand Forks. It will open a world of natural trees, animals and birds. The Red River South takes you away from the hustle and bustle of town and into the quiet tranquility of the Red River. Red River Downtown gives you the opportunity to see the cities of Grand Forks and East Grand Forks from a different perspective. The route runs through the downtown area and along both Central and Lincoln Parks. Red Lake River tour begins in East Grand Forks and extends upstream into Minnesota. It offers a more laid back feel as the Red Lake River is smaller and slower than the Red River of the North.

Tour rates are as follows: Basic Tour (2 hours), $69.00: Basic Night Tour (2 hours), $95.00; Extended Tour (4 hours), $125.00. Grous rates or extended tours available.

Enjoy a day of fishing on the Red River of the North! Captains Brad Durick and Kent Hollands (each one a Red River Fishing Guide, USCG Licensed Captain, ND Licensed & Insured and ND Safe Boater Certified), have put together an attractive fishing package.

This package includes, one nights lodging at the Holiday Inn, Grand Forks (based on hotel availability), a sack lunch provided by the Holiday Inn, fishing poles & bait, life vests, boat and tour guide. All you need to do is purchase a current fishing license.

Cost is $350 weekdays & $370 weekends based on 2 people.

Twilight fishing packages are also available. This unique fishing experience runs from 5 p.m until dark. No lunch is needed with this package, but in turn you will recieve two free drink tickets at Sugars Lounge in the Holiday Inn and an overnight stay.  

Cost is $275 weekdays & $295 weekends based on 2 people.

In need of a fishing license? If you are a ND resident, you can purchase your fishing license online at www.gf.nd.gov or at Scheel's Sporting Goods Store, located at 1375 S. Columbia Rd, Grand Forks, ND. If you are a Minnesota resident, you can purchase your fishing license online at www.dnr.state.mn.us or at Cabela's, located at 210 DeMers Ave. in East Grand Forks, MN.  If you are not a resident of either state and would like to fish on the Red River,  you may purchase your fishing license in either MN or ND!
