Greenway

Greenway

Still under development, the new Greenway consists of 2,200 acres lining the Red River and the Red Lake River as they flow through Greater Grand Forks.  This picturesque urban space offers countless recreational, cultural, historical and natural resource opportunities.  You can hike, walk, run, rollerblade, bike, bird, canoe, kayak, fish or golf, all in the heart of our two cities.  Additionally, there are two disc golf courses - one in Lincoln Drive Park and the other, a new 12-hole course, just off Bygland Road, across from Eagle Point Trail Head, in East Grand Forks.  Almost entirely complete, the Greenway includes an all-season trail system, nature preserves, picnic sites and camping areas.  A brand new dog park has also just opened in Lincoln Drive Park.  It offers dog owners a safe, legal opportunity to exercise their pet off-leash, within the city limits. (view map)
