Highlighted by Ulland Field, our 16-diamond softball complex able to host tournaments of more than 100 teams all at one site. Ulland also offers concessions stands, outdoor restroom facilities and grandstands. The primary baseball fields are Kraft and Strauss. City Parks offer an array of activities for the sports enthusiast, both in and just outside of town. A new Greenway is currently under development and will offer many recreational, cultural, historical and natural resource opportunities. Rock Climbing

Rock Climbing is available in the Grand Cities Mall. The Northern Heights Rock Gym offers routes up to 30 feet long, aretes, dihedrals, laybacks, cracks, faces and overhangs, bouldering and top rope climbs, a Rapid Fire wall, and auto-belay walls. Call 701-795-5085.

Red River Valley Gymnastics

University of North Dakota

home to a variety of sporting facilities including Memorial Stadium that features an artificial turf and an eight-lane 440 meter Regupol running track with permanent seating for 9,600; and Hyslop Sports Center, which features a multipurpose gym, natatorium with an eight-lane, 50-meter swimming and diving pool, locker/shower areas, sauna/ steam, bath/whirlpool area, racquetball/ handball courts, dance studio, weight room, offices and classrooms.
