If you build it, they will come. That’s what the staff of HB Sound & Light believed back in 2015 and they were right. The 4th Annual Holiday LEGO Display is back…bigger and better than ever!

This free, family-friendly event features thousands of toy blocks being used to re-create Grand Forks blocks. Numerous local iconic buildings and landmarks, such as The Red Pepper, Widman’s Candy Shop, Smiley water tower and our very own Greater Grand Forks Visitor Center, come alive in a magical miniature LEGO-inspired wonderland. It all takes place Downtown, in the HB middle warehouse, at 101 North 8th Street. Business hours are 10 AM to 6 PM on weekdays and Saturdays from 10 AM to 3 PM.

Even though that would be totally awesome on its own, they didn’t stop there! The public is also invited to a special Open House happening this Saturday, December 15, from 11 AM to 2 PM. In addition to all the displays, model trains and lights, enjoy cookies, cider and games. LEGO building stations will be set up for children of all ages to make their own masterpiece. If you wish to participate, those kid-creations will then be photographed, with people getting a chance to vote for their favorite on Facebook. The winner will receive a large LEGO box set.

The 4th Annual Holiday LEGO Display is a collaboration by HB Sound & Light, GFKlug and the community. Please keep in mind, the trains and lights will only run during Open House hours.
