SimplyGraNDU Hockey puts the fun on ice

Never experienced the fun and excitement of University of North Dakota (UND) Division I college hockey live and in person? One game is all it takes and you’ll be hooked!

“Hockey, hockey, hockey. Oiy, oiy, oiy!” That’s just one of the cheers you’ll need to learn to be a true green Fighting Hawkey fan.

In only season five at the helm of his alma mater, UND Men's Hockey head coach Brad Berry has put his trademark on a program already steeped in tradition and success. Right off the bat (or stick) Berry lead the team to a conference championship and national title! With future NHL stars like Grant Mismash, Shane Pinto and Harrison Blaisdell on the ice, UND is sure to see playoff action this season.

Home ice advantage also means fans get to enjoy all the luxuries of the magnificent Ralph Engelstad Arena, including its granite floor concourses, plush leather seats and two large lounges. This 400,000 square foot, five-story venue seats 11,700 and now features the largest center-hung videoboard in college hockey. If a variety of delicious food and beverages is what you’re looking for, pay a visit to one of the many concession areas located throughout. Offerings include the aromatically enticing Bavarian almonds, Philly-worthy cheesesteaks, crunchtastic taco-in-a-bag and The Red Pepper’s famously delicious grinder subs! You can also enjoy unlimited refill soda and for those 21+, there are several adult beverage locations pouring a variety of beer and mixed drinks.

Contrary to popular belief, it is possible to get tickets to most of UND’s home games but best plan ahead. If you don’t wanna miss out and be part of the cool crowd, purchase tickets right now by going to www.fightinghawks.com!
