My simply grand week…

ND Museum of Art Concerts in the Garden

This is going to be a great week in the Grand Cities!  I am looking forward to enjoying all that the town has to offer in the summer.  This is just a sample of my plans for the week… Tonight I have a meeting, but it won’t be without fun and great food, as it is taking place at the new restaurant, Jake’s.  Since I have only been there once, I am really excited to check out some of their food especially the Red Pepper Lavosh. Stroll, sip and savor

Season 4 of the Art & Wine Walk, co-produced by the CVB and the North Valley Arts Council, will kick of this Saturday!  This hugely popular series runs June-October, the third Saturday of each month.  From 1 to 5 p.m., participants will be able to sample fine wines and hors d’oeuvres while viewing great works of art at a variety of participating downtown businesses. To begin the event, simply go to either the Blue Moose Bar & Grill in East Grand Forks or the GuestHouse International Inn in Grand Forks and purchase your map of locations for just $15, which includes a commemorative wine glass. The afternoon caps off with a champagne reception, sponsored by the CVB, at the Empire Arts Center. If you are unable to make the June event, additional Art & Wine Walks are scheduled for July 16, August 20, September 17 and October 15.  More details may be found online.
