Today’s post comes from Manitoba travel writer and blogger, Shel Zolkewich.   Listen closely. Can you hear them? Yes, those are Christmas carols wafting from the loud speaker in your favorite store and that means the season is upon us! Join us as we explore Grand Forks, North Dakota during the happiest of holiday seasons.   Where to Shop The store is big, bright and apparently a crowd favorite. The home decor side of things is just as impressive. Whether you want to fashion your own Christmas wreath or pick up something ready to go, the choices are endless. There are also dishes, trees, lights, fabric and likely the most extensive and unique collection of tree ornaments in town.   It’s likely not the first place you think of when it comes to Christmas, but you’d be missing out if you didn’t pop into this Menards. This favorite hardware store …
