The Empty State Theatre presents: "Sweeney Todd"

The Empty State Theatre is thrilled to present the darkly thrilling masterpiece, Stephen Sondheim and Hugh Wheeler’s Sweeney Todd.

This notorious tale follows Sweeney Todd, a wrongfully exiled barber, as he returns to London to seek brutal revenge on the corrupt judge who destroyed his life and tore apart his family. Todd’s path to vengeance leads him to Mrs. Lovett, the savvy and desperate owner of a failing pie shop. Together, they hatch a sinister plan when Todd’s bloodthirsty desire inspires a terrifyingly delicious new ingredient for Mrs. Lovett’s pies... but the carnage is only just begun.
