Have a fabulous 4th in Forks

​Word has it, this Independence Day will be sizzling.

No, I’m not talking about the temps…it’s the 2019 Sertoma 4th of July Festival & Fireworks Show that will be lighting up the area east of Ulland Softball Field and west of South Middle School (2401 47th Avenue South)! Of course, we’re expecting warm ‘n sunny summertime weather, as well.

In addition to all the awesome attractions, scenic parks, superb shopping and dining we have to offer every single day, this iconic celebration adds even more sparkle to our two towns. If you want to make it a fun4th to remember, gather your family and friends and get ready to have a blast in #SimplyGrand Forks!

Schedule:

  • 8 AM: Altru Family YMCA Firecracker 10K & 5K Fun Run/Walk (will be held in its original location – Downtown across from Town Square)
  • 11:30 AM: Patriotic Kiddie Parade
  • 12 PM: Grand Forks City Band Concert
  • 12 to 11 PM: Food Vendors
  • 12 to 6 PM: Silent Auction & Raffle Ticket Sales (chance to win a 2019 Jeep Renegade + other prizes)
  • 1 PM: Opening Ceremony
  • 1 to 5 PM: Face Painting, Caricatures, Kids Games
  • 1 to 5 PM: Various activities including Inflatables, ArtWise, Games Galore & more
  • 2 PM: Magician Kevin Hall & the Halls of Magic
  • 2 to 11 PM: Beer Garden
  • 3 PM: Watermelon Feed
  • 3 to 6 PM: Kenny & the Classics
  • 7 to 10 PM: The Roosters
  • Dusk: Fireworks Show
