Five Grand Girls Getaway Days in Forks

No offense guys but we of the female persuasion occasionally need some time to ourselves. So, for all you girls out there who just wanna have fun…grab a bunch of besties and get ready to experience Grand times in our two Forks!

Fabulous Food & a Funny Flick

Start your Saturday by waking up to The Spud Jr.’s weekend brunch. It features a variety of awesome eats ranging from Biscuits & Gravy to Cinnamon French Toast Crunch and Breakfast Poutine to Caramel Bacon Jam Waffles. They also serve up bottomless Mimosas and best Bloody Mary in town.

Afterward, head a couple blocks west to River Cinema. This 15-plex theater features heated recliner seats and surround sound to accompany a variety of both new and classic movies.

Trays, Plays & Workshops

The talented professionals at All Seasons Garden Center periodically offer workshops teaching attendees how to make everything from a charcuterie tray to the perfect holiday bouquet. Check out their website to see when their next events will be.

Located just a few blocks north of All Seasons, The Other Half Coffee & Taphouse is a great place to grab a bite and a brew (or two). They serve a variety of mimosa, wine, beer, coffee and hot chocolate flights to accompany an array of charcuterie boards.

If you have energy left to burn, here’s an idea that’s literally right on target! Reserve a lane at Downtown Axe and try your hand at hitting some bullseyes. Food and beverage service is also available while you play.

Kenny & The Cay

First stop is the Boot Barn to peruse racks filled with the hottest women’s western wear in Forks.

Then it’s time to experience some tropical heat at The Parrot’s Cay. Nothing goes better with spicy Jambalaya and an order of their famous Shark Wings than a cold pitcher of beer.

End the evening rocking out to the cool country sounds of Kenny Chesney and Kelsea Ballerini, May 9, at the Alerus Center.

Tee Off

When temps are chilly and skies are gray, take it inside to play! At Albatross Indoor Golf Club, you can take a swing at some of the world's most famous courses without ever leaving Forks. Albatross features four aboutGolf simulators for rent, so be sure to call ahead and book your tee time.

End the evening dining at Eagles Crest Grill. Located on the legendary King’s Walk Golf Course, this popular eatery has an extensive menu that includes lavosh, burgers, sandwiches, steak, ribs and fresh fried walleye. One of their tasty Long Island teas makes a perfect accompaniment to any meal.
