Town Square Farmers Market produces grand things
Nestled in the heart of Downtown Grand Forks, our Town Square Farmers Market (TSFM) is more than just a place to shop…it's a vibrant community hub where locals and visitors alike meet up to celebrate fresh produce, homemade goods and the spirit of togetherness. Whether you're a foodie, lover of handcrafted treasures or simply someone who enjoys a lively atmosphere, TSFM has something special for everyone.
Consistently ranked as one of the region’s top outdoor markets, this popular summertime happening kicks off the second weekend in June and occurs every Saturday through September. Running from 9 AM to 1 PM, all the fun takes place in Town Square and sometimes even overflows onto South 3rd Street. Market goers will discover vendors selling everything from custom-made jewelry and eclectic art to spicy salsas and sweet jams, plus home baked goods even better than grandma used to make. At the center of it all, our local farmers proudly display their harvest, eager to share the fruits (and vegetables) of their labor.
Be sure to come hungry, as there will be plentiful food truck fare to tantalize your taste buds with flavors from around the world. While shopping and noshing, you’ll also be entertained by the sounds of tune-filled performances on the Square’s main stage. Mark your calendar for August 2, when TSFM celebrates its 25th
Anniversary with one grand Summer Carnival!

To make the most of your trip to TSFM, here are a few tips:
- Arrive Early – The best produce and popular items tend to sell out quickly.
- Bring Cash – While many vendors accept cards, cash is always appreciated and speeds up transactions.
- Bring Your Own Bags – Help reduce waste by bringing reusable shopping bags or baskets.
- Take Your Time – The market is as much about the experience as it is about shopping; stroll, chat and soak in the atmosphere.
Whether you’re a long-time resident or just passing through, make sure to carve out time to experience this local gem. You’ll leave with a full bag, happy heart and deeper appreciation for the people and produce that make our Forks shine. Additional details about TSFM may be found at TSFarmersMarket.com or Facebook.
