The Greenway of Greater Grand Forks
The Greenway is 2,200 scenic acres of natural open space, trails and recreational opportunities. Developed after the historic 1997 flood, this space was constructed as a buffer between the river and flood protection works. It offers walkers and their leashed canine companions more than 20 miles of trails. The Greenway also features several parks, shore bank fishing sites, a campground, disc golf courses, areas for bird/wildlife watching and numerous picnic spots.
