Lincoln Dog Park

This spacious off-leash dog park is located along the Red River. It features separate areas for large and small dogs.

Turtle River State Park

Turtle River is a lovely, sprawling park with scenic trails where leashed dogs are welcome. It also offers lots of great camping and picnicking spots.

The Greenway of Greater Grand Forks

The Greenway is 2,200 scenic acres of natural open space, trails and recreational opportunities. Developed after the historic 1997 flood, this space was constructed as a buffer between the river and flood protection works. It offers walkers and their leashed canine companions more than 20 miles of trails. The Greenway also features several parks, shore bank fishing sites, a campground, disc golf courses, areas for bird/wildlife watching and numerous picnic spots.

Formerly known as Home of Economy, this locally loved store welcomes leashed animals, making it a great place to shop for everything from outdoor gear to pet supplies.

Unbeknownst to many, Tractor Supply is fully stocked with some of the best doggy treats, food, squeakers and supplies in town. It’s almost like a toy store for your four-legged children. The friendly staff here will also give your pup a treat at checkout.

Staybridge Suites

Staybridge welcomes two pets up to 90 lbs. for an additional fee of $50 for stays of 1 to 7 nights, $75 for stays of 8 to 14 nights, $100 for stays of 15 to 30 nights and $150 (for longer stays). Crated pets may be left in the room unattended. A designated pet area with waste station is on the property.

La Quinta Inn & Suites
