The first boat rental operation on the banks of the Red River was begun by Ground Up Adventures, a local group with the goal of inspiring more people, especially kids, to take advantage of recreation activities on the river. Located on the Grand Forks side of theGreenway, just north of the Sorlie Bridge, the boathouse offers seaonsal kayak, canoe and paddleboard rentals.
