About the artist: David Hetland an artist graced many churches with his work. He is a nationally-recognized desinger known particularly for his liturgical works in mosaic and stained glass. For 28 years, the Fargo,N.D. artist designed the murals & left churches across Minnesota, North Dakota and beyond richer with works of stained glass and tile.

Hetland grew up in Grand Forks, N.D., and graduated from Concordia College in 1969. His reputation for liturgical art grew, he finally was able to concentrate on artistic commissions.
