Get ready for Potato Bowl USA Week — a Greater Grand Forks classic packed with spirit, flavor and hometown pride!
The excitement builds all week long, kicking off with Saturday morning’s beloved KEM Shrine Potato Bowl Parade — a tradition that fills the streets with marching bands, local groups and that unmistakable community energy. It’s the perfect way to set the tone for a weekend packed with UND spirit. From there, the momentum carries into Saturday’s University of North Dakota football game and the legendary tailgate party that draws fans from across the region. Whether you’re cheering in the stands or soaking in the pre‑game atmosphere, it’s the kind of experience that defines what UND pride is all about.
And of course, no spudtacular week would be complete without the World’s Largest French Fry Feed, where thousands gather on a beautiful Thursday evening to enjoy mountains of golden, crispy fries. It's a one‑of‑a‑kind tradition you won’t find anywhere else.
From kickoff to parade floats to the last fry shared with friends, Potato Bowl USA Week is a celebration of everything that makes our Red River Valley special.
