SHEro Silhouette Painting - International Women's Day Workshop

Workshop Description:

In honor of International Women's Day, come create a beautiful black and white painted silhouette of an inspirational female, a SHEro! They can be family, friends or a celebrity. Any woman who has positively impacted you! Please bring your idea or a photo for reference and don't forget your creativity!

A Note on Cost:

We charge a small fee of $10, which supports instructor fees, art supplies, and ongoing support for the International Women's Day Art Show into the future. We do not want cost to be a barrier to access, so if you're unable to pay please use the discount code FREETHEART for a no-fee class.

Inspired by celebrations around the world, ERA NOW, Arts for Vets, and the Women's Fund host an annual art show, to be held on March 7 in 2026 at the Arts for Vets Gallery (215 N 3rd Street). About the Instructor:

Mandy Smestad is an award-winning and published artist based in Minnesota. She specializes in portraiture and surrealism using vivid colors in her painting style.
