Owned and operated by the Grand Forks Park District, this 162,000 square foot facility showcases 2 basketball/volleyball courts, 3 racquetball courts, 6 tennis courts, a large indoor walk/run track (7x/1mile), an aquatics complex containing 2 large water slides, a zero depth entry pool, 3 lane lap pool and lazy river with 2 poolside birthday party rooms. Designed for the whole family, Choice Health & Fitness also has 2 community rooms for events and classes, a lounge area with outdoor patio space, 15,000 square feet containing state-of-the-art fitness equipment and 4 separate group exercise suites for rowing, cycling, large classes and yoga. Outdoor facilities include a playground, spray park and 6 outdoor tennis courts. Future on-site projects envisioned include fitness trails, an outdoor learning center / amphitheater, and ICON Sports Center (2-rink ice arena).
Choice Health & Fitness is also home to three on-site businesses that all share the same goal of health: USDA Grand Forks Human Nutrition & Research Center, Altru Health System and Truyu Aesthetic Center.
