The Ember Coffeehouse began as a volunteer‑run, late‑night refuge offering coffee, live local music and a sober space for genuine connection in downtown Grand Forks. It grew into a daytime gathering spot serving specialty drinks and pastries while championing the city’s creative community. After a three‑year pandemic closure and a fresh new paint job, The Ember has reopened with the same nonprofit, volunteer‑powered mission: to serve the heart of downtown and spark positive change through great coffee and authentic community.
