Get ready to reel in some excitement — the 39th Annual Cats Incredible Catfishing Tournament is coming to Lafave Park on the Red River of the North, July 24–25, 2026. This two‑day, community-powered tradition draws passionate anglers from across the Midwest as part of the Red River Catmaster Series, making it one of the region’s most anticipated summer events.

Beyond the competition, the riverbank transforms into a full festival atmosphere with live entertainment, family-friendly activities and a variety of food and beverage vendors. Whether you’re casting a line or just soaking up the scene, it’s a weekend built for fun, community and big-catfish bragging rights.

SCHEDULE

Friday, July 24

  • Team meeting: 6:00 PM (location TBD)
  • Boat launch: 6:30 AM
  • Fishing begins: 9:00 AM
  • Boats must be between bridges by 6:00 PM
