Freshwater Ecology Weekend
Make a splash with Turtle River State Park with their Freshwater Ecology weekend! All programs are free and you do not have to be camping to attend our programs. Rain dates will be held in the Visitor Center Classroom. Vehicle passes are required for vehicles entering state parks.
River Ecology
Friday, June 26th

Ever wonder why a river changes course? What happens when a river floods? At this program, we will dive into the secrets a river holds.
Aquatic Macroinvertebrates
Saturday, June 27th
Visitor Center Classroom at 10am
Did you know that dragonflies start their lives out in the water? Explore what other mysteries lie beneath the water with this youth-based program.
Frog Hike
Saturday, June 27th
Chalet Lot at 2pm
Hop on by this weekend for a chance to enjoy some frog song and good company as we hike from the Chalet in search of these semi-aquatic allies!
Reptiles and Amphibians
