Nifty Navigation Weekend

Find your way around the park during Nifty Navigation weekend! All programs are free and you do not have to be camping to attend our programs. Rain dates will be held in the Visitor Center Classroom. Vehicle passes are required for vehicles entering state parks.

Orienteering
Friday, July 31st

Navgate your way to the TRSP amphitheater as we learn the art of—well—navigation in this week’s orienteering program! Learn the ins and outs of this sport as well as its origins as you wander into the world of wayfinding!

Scavenger Hunt
Saturday, August 1st
Visitor Center Classroom at 10am
Stretch your legs and your mind during this week’s scavenger hunt! Join us for a fun blend of riddles and hiking during this trivia time-trial!

Adventure Lab Hike
Saturday, August 1st
Hillside Picnic Lot at 2pm
Have you heard of Adventure Labs? Use your device to explore the story of TRSP at your own pace as you discover the park in a whole new way!

Geocaching
Saturday, August 1st
Amphitheater at 8pm
Join us to learn about this modern day treasure hunt! We will learn how to use a GPS, explore geocache clues, and search for hidden caches in the park!
